The last few years have seen many families around the world begin to experience the joy of Chickens. For some, the ‘Chicken journey’ has come about by choosing to live a little more mindfully, and a little more sustainably after being faced by the pandemic. Some may have been thinking about keeping Chickens for some time, seeing now as the perfect time to explore the abundance of ‘Chicken life’. And for many, the joy of keeping Chickens has been a life long love.
There are so many beautiful, friendly varieties of Chickens available to welcome into our homes and gardens.
And so, I have chosen to honour and celebrate ‘Chickens’ and 'Christmas' together, with my art work simply called ‘The Chickens of Christmas’. The concept is eccentric, and the result of a song I wrote in 2019 - a parody to ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’.
